Subject: A good intro to Ubiquitone
Subject: A good intro to Ubiquitone
This is the 1st Ubiquitone show in my collection and I think it's a good one to start with. This night at the State Theatre in Falls Church they were opening
...
the night, I believe for New Potato Caboose or their pre-cursor band. Anyway, that makes the show a realitivly quick download too.
This set sizzles. From the 1st note through Shakedown Street they never stop. Playing is at times rich & melodic, at other times psychedelically whimsical, and at still others it's wildly high energy rock and roll. The only drawback, and it's minor is in the vocals but the quality of the playing more than makes up for it in my opinion. These guys seem to limit their touring to the mid-Atlantic but if they stick with it I think they have the potential to grow their fanbase beyond there, Particularly in the south and mountain west, I can see them gaining a following. Enjoy
